Vision: We envision a community of empowered women, girls and families succeeding through increased opportunities to pursue and fulfill their individual aspirations.

Mission: The YWCA Bucks County is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

Values: The YWCA Bucks County is committed to the empowerment of, community-based service to, and partnership with women, girls and families in need. Integrity, diversity, inclusivity, empathy and self-value are non-negotiable elements of everything we do.

Focus: The YWCA Bucks County provides multilingual programs and services to Bucks County women, girls and families in support of its Vision, Mission and Values through Family Center and Community-Based programs that provide knowledge and support to:

  • increase cultural understanding for the elimination of racial, ethnic, religious, gender and socio-economic discrimination;
  • increase opportunities for women, girls and families to explore leadership, self-confidence, gender identity, healthy living and parenting knowledge;
  • increase individual and familial self-sufficiency and financial independence;
  • increase the availability of reliable sources of food to those in need.
