Stuff the Bus

 Stuff the Bus 2018

It's that time again - time to Stuff the Bus with the United Way of Bucks County. This year we want to serve over 3,000 children in Bucks County to help them get ready to go back to school. We need YOUR help!

How you can help:

  • Start a collection drive, the YWCA will again serve as a drop off location this year. Stop by between normal business hours between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for drop off.
  • Support the YWCA while helping Stuff the Bus. Shop at Five Below between August 4, and August 10, 2018 and 10% of the proceeds earned in that period will come back to the YWCA. Click here for the flyer

 Stuff the Bus Recap

We were thrilled that the United Way of Bucks County allowed us to partner with them for Stuff the Bus 2017! This event supplied school supplies to members of the Bucks County Communities, because every child deserves to have a healthy and happy school year! The YWCA received an abundant amount of donations from organizations and community members including 1SEO and Northtec. Our donations were taken to the inventory unit where all were sorted and prepared to be stuffed, and on Thursday August 24, 2017 all backpacks and school supplies were stuffed and packed away to be delivered out to the community.

The goal in 2017 was to provide over 2,200 backpacks to those in need, it is believed that goal was successfully reached.

Thank you to the United Way of Bucks County for allowing us to be apart of this event, all partner organizations, and community members who made this event a success.
