Details: The Stand Against Racism is a national initiative of the YWCA USA. Locally, the YWCA Bucks County joins over 750 sites nationwide to advocate and lead activities that deliver a clear message that we are on a mission to eliminate racism. This year we are having a panel discussion and stakeholders meeting that will kick off our event. We will be asking our panel to respond to several questions pertaining to what we can do as a community to ensure a practice of inclusion and diversity. In addition to the panel discussion, participants read and sign the Stand Against Racism pledge and commit to do their part to eliminate racism in their community as a call to action. The event is an amazing opportunity that allows our community to demonstrate our commitment to diversity, equality, safety and inclusion.
We are inviting community groups, school officials, elected officials, stakeholders, law enforcement, community partners and individuals to join the YWCA as we take a Stand Against Racism. Anyone interested in attending canRSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
YWCA Bucks County is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
