Doylestown church to hold social justice workshop
The Peace and Justice Ministry at Our Lady of Mount Carmel will host the executive director of YWCA Bucks County and Germantown Friends School teacher Serita Lachesis, who will discuss tools to support social justice, equity, inclusion and diversity.
DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH — The Peace and Justice Ministry of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will host a workshop on social justice at 7 p.m. Monday.
Guillaume Stewart, executive director of the YWCA Bucks County, and math teacher Serita Lachesis from Germantown Friends School, will lead the discussion on tools to support social justice, equity, inclusion and diversity. The workshop will help participants develop the skill and perspective necessary for supporting healthy communities.
Their presentation will address the role that community members play in creating and maintaining healthy societies, and will take place at St. Mary’s Hall on Maple Avenue, across from the church. Refreshments will be served. For information, call Rosemary Ramil at 215-340-0238.
