Join us on October 12 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm for a session on Human Trafficking 101 presented by BCAT and the Bucks County YWCA. Within the last two decades, our collective awareness of the global reach of the human trafficking problem has increased, as has our understanding of the impact on the victims who are being trafficked for forced labor and/or sexual exploitation. Human trafficking is much closer to home than you think. The training will offer an overview of human trafficking, key indicators of trafficking, the need for a coordinated response and resources available. Hosted by: Congregation Brothers of Israel, The Newtown Yardley Ministerium, Episcopal Church of the Holy Nativity, Wrightstown, PA, Ivyland Presbyterian Church. Introductions and opening remarks will be made by Bucks County District Attorney, Matt Weintraub.
