Nominations are currently being accepted from the community until February 28, 2020 to be considered for this year’s event. All nominations will be reviewed by the volunteer committee and those selected will be announced on Friday, March 15, 2020. A total of 12 women will be selected in the following categories to be honored at the event: Advocacy & Civic Engagement, Corporate Social Responsibility, Media & Journalism, Women’s Empowerment, Racial Justice, and Community Engagement, and one young women for the #GirlPower award. YWCA Bucks County will hold its 29th Annual Salute to Women Who Make a Difference Awards on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., at Spring Mill Manor, Ivyland.
The gala event features a cocktail reception, raffles/silent auction, a full-course dinner and the recognition and presentation of awards for our honorees. Individual tickets are $90 or a table of 10 for $850.
The Salute to Women Who Make a Difference is a hallmark event of the YWCA that proudly honors female leaders who live and/or work in Bucks County. Each year, the YWCA Salute to Women recognizes women in Bucks County making exceptional contributions to their businesses, organizations, and their communities. Over the last 28 years, the YWCA has honored hundreds of women while raising much-needed funds to support our mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
