YWCA Bucks County is always seeking volunteers to work with children, adults and families at various locations in Bucks County. Examples of some of the volunteer opportunities include:

Read to a child
Help a child with homework
Share your skills, talents, and life experiences
Teach a job skill or hobby
Give a tour of your workplace
Conduct a food drive
Help at a YWCA office
Serve on a fundraising committee

YWCA Volunteer Wish List

Read to children in after school programs.

Organize food collections and donation drives for YWCA Food Pantries; holiday shopping and giving; gift wrapping parties; back-to-school supplies campaign.

Share your talents: serve on a special events/fundraising committee, join staff and other community volunteers planning the Annual YWCA Salute to Women Who Make a Difference Awards Dinner (May) and YWCA Ladies Night Out (November).

Lend your skills in our YWCA offices to help with clerical, administrative, maintenance, and other activities, in our Trevose office and at YWCA Family Centers.

Help organize food pantries, donations, professional clothes closets, help teachers and children in after-school programs, and help with special events, parties and holiday activities. There are morning, afternoon, and evening opportunities in our YWCA Family Centers.

Enrich the lives of children at YWCA Saturday Camp at the YWCA Creekside Family Center, Bensalem with planned educational, recreational and cultural activities.

“Take students to work.” Provide tour visits to your plant or office for adults or youth groups seeking career information/job opportunities.

Individuals and group volunteers are always needed, welcomed, and cherished by the YWCA. We need You! There are many more ways to get involved.
